Dr. Mia Neil, Biochemist and Molecular Biologist, earned her Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2008. Her passion for teaching and educating youth started as a Faculty career in Medical Biochemistry at The Ohio State University and continues at both The Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College.

In early 2015, Dr. Mia founded the Women’s Health Education Program, under P2i Global Foundation, launching its first event “First Annual Community Baby Shower” in June 2015, and pledging to help women in Pregnancy & Infant Care. She is eager to help  young women be the best version of themselves and maximize their quality of life, while raising healthy children and living up to their highest potential. Each year, the program impacts the lives of more than 120 pregnant or new mothers, through education and services.  The program’s goal is to help decrease infant mortality in Columbus while helping make life easier, cleaner and healthier for mom and baby.

“I have found peace and joy in serving youth, more than I ever imagined. Every one I meet has her own story to share and is so deserving of love and care. I have been called to this incredible experience of loving, serving, empowering, inspiring and celebrating young women, moms and their newborns in Health and Happiness, and it is with passion and diligence that I answer to my calling.” – Dr. Mia
